About this movie

Life doesn't always go according to plan...Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) has lost everything - his house, his job, and his wife. He now finds himself living back with his mother (Jacki Weaver) and father (Robert DeNiro) after spending eight months in a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife, despite the challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat's parents want is for him to get back on his feet - and to share their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things get complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with his wife, but only if he'll do something very important for her in return. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them, and silver linings appear in both of their lives. The Weinstein Company presents SIilver Linings Playbook, a family drama, comedy and love story based on the bestselling novel by Matthew Quick, written and directed by David O. Russell (The Fighter, Flirting With Disaster). Copyright 2012 SLPTWC Films, LLC. All Rights Reserved.

The movie isn't playing correctly and flickers the entire way through. I want to get a refund but it won't allow me to in my settings and I've read the email telling me how and there is no report a problem part. Please give me a refund as it is not performing the way it should.

I loved the fact that many mental health disorders are embaded in this movie. one can learn about bipolar disorder although the episods are not that clear. Borderline personality disorder, OCD and some challenges faced within families and freinds' groups.By the way Jennifer Lawrence could not play better how a person with borderline personality disorder could look like! Maybe that is why she got an Oscar! I love that this movie raises awareness on peolpe with mental disorders in a light and funny way. It also showes the importance of trusting, supporting and not judging those struggling with their menatl health. ahh soo much to talk about :D . Anyways I would advice everyone to see it, especially psychology students.

I rarely enjoy a film if I've read the book first, but in this case I did. Probably more suited to those with a darker sense of humour but definitely worth a watch.
