About this movie

Former highschool teacher Pat Solatano has lost everything - his house, his job, and his wife. After spending eight months in a psychiatric ward on a plea bargain, Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife - even though she has a restraining order against him. All Pat's parents want is for him to get back on his feet - and to share their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany, the equally-troubled sister of his friend's wife, she offers to help Pat get in touch with his wife, but only if he'll be her partner in a freestyle dance competition. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them, and silver linings appear in both of their lives. David O. Russell (THE FIGHTER, FLIRTING WITH DISASTER) directs an all-star cast in the feel-good comedy of the year. 2012 The Weinstein Company, LLC. All Rights Reserved. I think its either you love it or you hate it, and I hate it... Can't believe how many good reviews it had all over the internet but I really didn't like it... Bad script, Loved all the actors though, but they really could come up with much much better story

One of the best comedies I have ever seen. The humor arises from a natural, real-life situation, unlike so many comedies where the situations are set-up to make you laugh. Beautifully acted and directed, with a simple but again true to life environment. Deniro actually shows why he is a great film actor in the movie, unlike other recent movies of his. Lawrence and Cooper had great chemistry.

Throws You Up Into The Air Like A Baby, Then Catches You And Gives You A Warm Hug, Leaving You Far Better Than A Moment Ago. The Sort Of Art That Heals ... Unending Gratitude Goes Out To All Of Its Creators.
