Shin Godzilla

Brilliant movie, but beware of one thing: this version only have English voiceover. No, you don’t have a choice, and Google won’t refund you for the reason. Some may argue this has a good dub but I simply don’t think so at all. For one thing, the main female character has a voice like she’s in fifties. If possible, please reconsider add the original voice back, since it already has English subtitles anyway.

As a life long Godzilla, and having seen every movie I wasn't a fan of this one. I appreciate what they were trying to do, a return to their roots with this being a disaster film, but it felt slow and there was never much pay-off in my opinion. It's still worth watching for any Godzilla fan, but I wouldn't recommend this to a casual viewer, and even to dedicated Godzilla fans I would still recommend other films above this one. But that's just my opinion.
