About this movie

Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) are a married couple still very much in love, but ten years and two kids have cooled the passion. To get it back, they decide – why not? – to make a video of themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex in one marathon three-hour session. It seems like a great idea, until they discover that their most private video has gone public. In a panic, they begin a wild night of adventure – tracking down leads, roping in friends, duping Annie’s boss – all to reclaim their video, their reputation, their sanity, and, most importantly, their marriage.

I was really looking forward to this movie, as I am a big fan of both headlining actors. Unfortunately, the movie declines to advertise the biggest name in the movie: Apple. Over and over again they mentioned Apple products, or talked about the wonderful things they could do with them. There was nothing subliminal about it either. To add to the frustration, the script is very poorly written. I'm shocked Jason Segal, Cameron Diaz & Rob Lowe didn't take one look at the script and decline the offer!

There was some funny scenes, but it felt like a 90 minute Apple commercial. Not to mention they give away iPads like candy. I mean, who gives away a $500 iPad. Family I can understand, but the amount of people they hand them out to is just way too unrealistic. I'm thinking they said let's make a movie where we can advertise Apple products and make it a comedy.

Beyond the occasional gawk at Cameron Diaz's breasts (side boob) and her cute butt, there was nothing good about this movie. Frankly, I fell asleep about 2/3 of the way through the movie - There was just nothing more to capture my attention. Jason Segel seems to have lost "the touch" since "Big Bang Theory" ended.
