About this movie

It looms up out of the woods like a dormant beast. Grand, imposing... abandoned and deteriorating, the Danvers State Mental Hospital, closed down for 15 years is about to receive 5 new visitors. Donning protective gear, the men of the Hazmat Elimination Co. venture into the eerily vast and vacant asylum that is filled with an evil and mysterious past. Rampant patient abuse, medieval medical procedure and rumors of demonic possession are some of the many dark secrets the hospital holds - but then so do each of the men.

This is one of the better newer age sort of horror movies of its sub genre. Its story is well told, the location added much depth to the visual side of things - I wanted to see what was around each corner. I wanted to absorb everything in the atmosphere provided by this film. Truly remarkable from start to finish, I found it quite masterfully done. This, coming from someone who *doesn't* believe in ghosts, and finds this particular sub-genre of horror quite tasteless. This blew my mind

This movie has been on my wishlist since 2015. After watching the movie on video in my English classroom, I was immensely interested in the whole plot line. It was (in my opinion) filled with twists and mazes. The whole movie was worth it to watch over again.

Not great, not awful. It's a bit slow moving for my taste but I was interested enough to see how it ended.
