ladies don't get a second act, if you mess up the first act ladies your lives will get super messy. dont let these movies trick you by making you think you'll have a chance with a hot young guy when you've done nothing but eat and ride the " Carousel" your whole lives, trust me ladies you only get the first act and these days that ends for most of you at 30

J.Lo just regurgitated "Maid In Manhattan". She tends to do that in her movies for no apparent reason. This was very nonsensical and silent nod to the gay equality movement (I'm gay, so I can say this...) but pointless and done like a cheap bologna sammich. (Yes, you read this correctly...) A rousing episode of "King of Queens", with copious amounts of Kevin James, would have put the icing on the cake! Or perhaps a sighting of the dubious, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) would have sufficed.

The point where the friends turn on her when they were the ones that pushed her forward is a typical reaction. The part where she decided to have her own source of income before starting a family was a great addition to the movie. All to often we see that society makes women leave what they love to cater to a husband. I can definitely relate to the daughter in a sense. Many of us felt that we had to give up what we care about to please our parents only to realize that we slowly become empty inside. Overall, the variety of backgrounds help to show the attitudes of how success is defined from different points of view.
