About this movie

After David Kim's (John Cho) 16-year-old daughter goes missing, a local investigation is opened and a detective is assigned to the case. But 37 hours later and without a single lead, David decides to search the one place no one has looked yet, where all secrets are kept today: his daughter’s laptop. In a hyper-modern thriller told via the technology devices we use every day to communicate, David must trace his daughter’s digital footprints before she disappears forever.

The computer-screen-only point of view was unique and surprisingly well done. I'm not going to lie, I felt my heart pounding in my chest at times from the thrill of the search. One of the better movies I've seen this year. This was of course after having just watched the overrated boring 'Fantastic Beasts 2'.

This movie keeps your attention the entire time with constantly introducing new questions and answers to the plot. Right when you think you figured things out, something else is thrown into the mix. The only problem I had, was that the acting when the father is talking to people on the phone is a little over done and a bit generic, but overall a really good movie. Also another cool attention to detail(as someone who works in IT) is the multiple different operating systems they display on the computer screens.
