About this movie

Legendary director Wes Craven (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) re-invented and revitalized the slasher-horror genre with this funny, clever and scary first film in the hit franchise. After a series of mysterious deaths, an offbeat group of scary movie fans become the target of a masked killer. As the body count begins, it's clear that the rules must be followed, and everyone's a suspect. David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan, Skeet Ulrich, and Drew Barrymore star in this semi-satire, all-scares first instalment.

Ah yes, the very first Scream movie that I ever first time watched when I was younger... Film was great and humor's that I ever seen in this movie came through to poke-and-stab fun at the times through horror-clinch movies. Ghost Face was an intresting serial killer at least, friendly-to-a-sinister serial killer that impresses me, and last but NOT least > Neve Campbell's performance as Sidney Prescott has badass at the least for being a final girl in this movie series. Rest-in-peace Wes Craven, you make fabulous horror movies that surprised fans! Can't wait for the Scream 2022!

Best horror movie of all time. It makes fun of horror movies, while still being original. The who's the killer aspect of the franchise is amazing, and even when you know who the killers are, they're still fun to watch again. This one is the best of the 5, I can never get tired of rewatching it

I have watched this movie I don't know how many times. First time I've ever seen a "funny" horror film. And the opening shot is awesome. A real surprise. And Rose Mcgowan in the garage with her sexy melons and highbeams on. Wow, just wow! Love it.
