Saving Private Ryan

Probably one of Tom Hanks best. A Great movie. The constant turns and hopelessness of trying to find one soldier and try to return him back home. One son, still alive out five. A storyline, within a big storyline of the second world war. A terrifying, brutal and costly war. The acting was superb. Thank you

This film is a disappointment. The acting is very good and the camera work aswell but I have only rated it this score due to the opening battle. It has the perfect amount of gore and blood for a war film. The dialog could jave been slightly better though and they could have shortened the film aswell. 170 minutes of disapointment.

Great allround film..bit boring in some parts though. Still reckon 'Where Eagles Dare' is the best war film made.
