SCOOB!

Counterbalancing the 1 star reviews of people complaining about it's rental price, rather than actually basing the review on the movie. I am excited to see this, not sure I would pay it's current rental or purchase price for it though, and also need to decide if i want to get a 4K UHD physical copy [when they finally release that] that might come with bonus content or just buy it here [no bonus content, no dolby audio]. For those complaining about the rental price [or purchase price for that matter], you need to remember that this has skipped cinema release and come straight to purchase / rent streaming services. Think how much this would have cost if you saw it at the cinema (i.e. at least you and one other person, one ticket each). Do the maths. cost of purchase or rental divided by how many people watching your rental / purchase = actual cost per person..... I bet it will be less than the cost of you all going to the cinema. Please keep your review about the movie.

This is a cute film that at it's heart is actually an homage to the Hanna-Barbera genre. The story is classic animation story formatting so don't expect it to be remarkable. Just enjoy the clever in-jokes, flashes of other HB characters (Shout out to Captain Caveman) and a fun, light hearted walk down memory lane. If you're young and never had the HB experience, then you may find this film is really more a 1 or 2 star film but for me, classic old school Scooby with a modern twist.

I have paid to rent this movie for my kids but it would be nice to be able to watch it on my TV instead of on my phone. I have a SMART TV, we have a FETCH box and a PS4 but no matter which way I try I am unable to play the movie. I have tried casting from my phone, playing from YouTube app on the FETCH box, YouTube on the TV and on the PS4. Each time I encounter an error, kids are very disappointed.
