I do love this film. No doubt the odd pinch of salt needs to be taken with some details. I love the way the lyrics & music are used within the film, a very good insight of the music. The rating is for the swearing, drug-use & a brief, very passionate scene between Elton & John Reid. They ARE relevant to the film so stick with it & enjoy the music of Bernie Taupin & Elton John. 👍

Amazing. I grew up with the songs, but had to keep playing them back as they brilliantly blended into the movie. It was great to hear classic songs sung so well, & I was quiet emotional at certain times due to Elton's life & how he was used & luckily came through in the end. So glad he is happy now, with a good man & bringing up two kids. He deserves a good life after entertaining us for years.

Can appreciate the quality of the acting and performance but afraid we found this incredibly dull. Devoid of much of a plot or points of interest. Neither are huge Elton fans so maybe we can't appreciate this for what it is. Unless you are a fan, wouldn't recommend this film.
