Love the music, BUT...too much of a musical for a movie and poorly executed. I was very disappointed since Def Leppard has been one of my fave bands since the mid-80s. Even watched at a drive-in, yet I nearly fell asleep. If it weren't for my DL devotion, we would have left less than halfway through. :(

*One of my favorite 'musical' Broadway'esque' films* FIRST off- you must be a music lover to understand the underlying themes as well as the transitions of the characters themselves. Through the powerful display of fame and dreams coming to life, this sexy and smartly cast soundtrack of the 80's come to life!....a meshing of free-spirited emotion finally meets edgy. That the 1980's. Leather and Lace. Gold and Excess for Glam. Innocence, determination, and motivation were the key ingredients that built the foundation for why this era, although short lived will never be forgotten. Those characteristics shown through the people so heavily influenced and proud of this new music type. Heavy use of guitar and drums demanded attention and respect, Keyboards entranced all with it's techie advanced glittery sounds, and those elements emphasized the heartfelt lyrics that poured from speakers all over every town, flooding America with what we crowned as being 'Powerhouse ballads'.
