A terrible "origins" movie which doesn't feel like the Robin Hood everyone has grown up loving. Change the recipe a bit so that people stay interested, GREAT; throw everything out and try to make a movie carried almost exclusively on Russell Crow's ego, FAIL! Do yourself a favor and find a good phone book to read. It will be much better than this attempt at retelling the Robin Hood saga.

Ridley Scott tried to duplicate his success with gladiator. He failed. This is a miserable failure of a tired character. Instead of attempting to bring it to a new audience he only succeeded in making the plot a current theme using historical fiction. Worthless.

Love the way Russell Crowe pulled this one off. Comes with an all star cast so you really can't go wrong. Did need something extra at times, I daresay it was a better soundtrack to add that finishing touch. 4.5 stars.
