About this movie

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a revolution; an action-packed epic featuring stunning visual effects and creatures unlike anything ever seen before. At the story's heart is Caesar (Andy Serkis), a chimpanzee who gains human-like intelligence and emotions from an experimental drug. Raised like a child by the drug's creator (James Franco), Caesar ultimately finds himself taken from the humans he loves and imprisoned. Seeking justice, Caesar assembles a simian army and escapes -- putting man and primate on a collision course that could change the planet forever.

But it is definitly worth a watch. But i think it seens to try to not make feelings with anyone but ceaser. But even then you still think of him mirely as an animal and not really a main charactar. That and a shaky start but great action film especially as like if my brother you do not like blood it still makes a great film for a boring sunday

I've got a thing about apes chimps, n monkeys.. I've never liked em. They freak me out. However.. I saw this film coz I wanted to see what the fuss was about as there's a new one out. And O.M.G! I was so shocked at how much I loved it. Its such a beautiful film. I felt so sorry for ceaser. And that's coming from me who feels uneasy about these animals. Lol. I actually don't hate em as much now I've seen this. I highly recommend this film. It's adorable.

Great visuals and a good attempt at continuing the Original planet of the apes series. I don't think anything will ever surpass the original films I grew up with as a child but a modern take allows for a new generation of ape film lovers to perhaps get the bug and watch the original flicks?. I enjoyed watching this still and for visual entertainment and a new take on the ape ideas pretty refreshing!. If you've only ever watched the original films these new ones are worth a watch. If you've only ever just begun to watch these new ones, then definitely watch the Originals ( unbeatable story lines and well ahead of there time costume visuals)!. Enjoy :-)
