Riding In Cars With Boys

Beverly Donofrio lived through a rollercoaster of ups and many, many downs. She had a police sergeant father who was often very hard on her, she got into trouble as a boy-crazy teenager in the sixties, but she also had big dreams. Unfortunately, being a teen mother married to a man with problems of his own had meant that her life had taken a turn in a different direction. Due to Ray's drug addictions, the marriage failed. But Beverly survived, and turned her story into a book. I enjoyed the book and movie.

A great movie. I watched it with my oldest daughter when it first came out and still do occasionally and cry each time. Love it!

I could watch this movie everyday and never tire of it. It's an amazingly honest film. It is my favorite movie!
