About this movie

Picking up after Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. RENT. DON'T BUY!!! (SPOILERS) Honestly, I'm an little less than an hour into this movie and already disappointed. I can deal with not getting to see what would have been an epic battle in Washington D.C. but whoever wrote this should really go back and do a reboot of the original if they intend to play this off. There was no marketing or distribution of the T-virus as some kind of miracle cure for all disease in any of the other films within the series, as this one is trying to peddle. It was made out that the virus broke contamination from the Hive facility and simply spread like wildfire across the globe, Umbrella then using the incident for some world manipulation. NON of the supporting cast throughout any of the movies had spoken of any re-branded T-virus "miracle cure", that Umbrella had sold to the general public. Very disappointing hole in the overall plot of what was a decent series BUT nice try with the "Micheal Bay" distraction sequences and general scenes of impossible traps within the Hive for our protagonists. This was so poorly scripted that I'd rather watch a Sci-Fi original movie on T.V. like freaking Sharknado. IT WAS THAT BAD...

This franchise was never good (except for the first film) the story was a mess the game characters were in name only the main character was a Mary Sue but at least the action was enjoyable. But the some idiot decided that let's shake the camera no stop so you can't see anything! Oh and the plot is bad and they retcon everything again like the do every movie except now it is even dumber because it doesn't just change one or two things it throws out every single plot point from movies 2-5. But honestly if you actually cared about the plot at this point you only have yourself to blame.

I loved it! Even though it had major plot holes and didn't make sense with the other five movies it was still a great action/popcorn flick, despite its many flaws that action was great the acting was alright but the fight scenes were amazing but the movie and of itself was amazing I love how it closed and how it all came full circle with Alice and who she really was, but in case you guys were wondering Jill , Leon ,Ada and others all died during the battle in D C Wesker had them all killed and Alice was the only Survivor left barely it's a long story but she barely escaped,l no this tidbit because I read the book the book had more interesting tidbits than anything and was quiet and depth about everything.
