Reign of the Supermen

my very first review on this platform after years of owning an account. this was a terrible movie, terrible voice acting, terrible plot and an expensive cash grab - preying on genuine interest in a loved franchise. i did not enjoy this at all and it definitely was not worth a two part series charged at the price of a full on movie - each!

A worthy successor to the acclaimed Death of Superman. The writers had a tough job making the Supermen distinct & interesting while staying relevant. But by the end, each has a vital & unique role to play & you are emotionally invested w/ the characters. Steel & Superboy were new faces turned favorites. The villain under Darkseid had a compelling motivation to hate Superman. JL vanishing was executed a bit (ma)clunky but totally forgivable because everything else is great.

The animation was solid. The voice acting was okay, and the music was great. I didnt care for the story or the dialogue. I was disappointed in this movie after seeing the great story and dialouge in Death of Superman. I want half of my money back.
