What a wonderful movie! Of course movies of that era seemed bound to having a song and dance number, which I could have done without. But other than that, just a beautiful story - suspenseful interjections, believable serendipity, tragedy overcome, and the type of tasteful heart-pounding romantic ending that seems to have almost died with the "Golden Era." Some movies you enjoy, but seeing once is enough. This is NOT one of those movies! One of my favorites.

About as good a classic romance/ drama movie and story that is possible! Amazingly acted, well scripted, believable and original timeless tale. The largest shame is that everyone doesn't talk about this when it comes to legendary film. This may be my favorite of them all, quite honestly.
