I loved the movie . SPOILER ALERT ! SPOILER ALERT. Good, now I'm exempt .; Stallone slicing dicing punching garroting shooting kicking snapping necks and finally nailing the object of his rage to the barn wall with 4 arrows shot in Rambo fashion , for complete incapacity; excluding, the maggots cock-sucker; - so we can enjoy that screaming hole with eyes wide open, as Stallone looks at him with cold blooded thirsty eyes boring into said maggots bulging terror filled eyes; then quickly brings the 'poor' guy up to speed and then cuts his heart out , the long way; not too quickly , but fast enough for Rambo to put the guys heart on display for him as the last thing for him to see. Yeah, I liked it . ALOT . The heroin would have never killed her . Unless she died two minutes after taking it; she would have been already feeling the effects of withdrawal and VERY MUCH ALIVE but wishing she were dead. That's the critical lack of research into it. That his first aim was not a hospital in the U.S. is something I realize in hindsight; and contradicts Rambo's character. It was made clear to me that the ride home was a very long one, but not a building in sight until then. . Withdrawal from any opioid CAN NOT KILL YOU .I let stuff go in movies with my favorite actors; but the heroin was key to her death. If she were to die ; she would have been already when he found her laying sedate at the slowest heart rate . Moving her would have stimulated her , she would come to rather quickly ; as all she wanted was OUT OF THERE. She would not have been given benzos as they wanted her docile and compliant , not unconscious. Again; if benzos (xanax; valium ) were it she would have been dead already; and way too new to it, for withdrawal to kill her. It takes at least 6 months of consistent use and abuse for that to be a concern. Rambo driving home was a reasonable decision if awareness of this he had. The death of her was KEY to the story; so it's a big hole ; but I'd watch it again.

I liked the begining and middle but they seemed to Hollywood the end very badly. Meaning. It felt like they were trying to wrap it up quickly by too fast scene sequences that really took off alot of it's authenticity. What made Rambo so good for me.. the o.e. motorocycle chase scene. Raw. Authentic and we'll laid out and let the viewer submerge himself into and on the bike and further in the story

I watched it in the theater a few weeks back. It's like First blood with more of an emphasis on story, though it's a really sad, heartbreaking story. It takes a while for the action to start but when it does, there are some VERY gruesome kills especially the last guy. It's as brutal of a kill as you'll ever see. Overall it's a great addition to the franchise and shouldn't be missed by any fan of the others.
