About this movie

When missionaries in Myanmar disappear into the vast green inferno, vigilante Vietnam War veteran John Rambo leaves his job as a Salween River boatman behind to accompany a group of mercenaries on a daring rescue mission. It's been twenty years since Rambo traded his guns for a fishing reel, but the world's longest running civil war rages into its sixtieth year on the nearby Thai-Burma border. Now, despite the fact that Rambo has long since sworn off all forms of violence, the knowledge that innocent missionaries are being used as pawns in a brutal war leaves him with no other choice than to venture behind enemy lines on his most dangerous mission to date. © 2007 Equity Pictures Medienfonds GmbH & Co. For me the best Rambo after the original First Blood, this is so brutal is almost looks and sounds real. Shocking, eye opening war sequences with bags of gore and blood that will keep you watching. It will not win oscars, best director or best actor but it does clearly show what Rambo is all about, revenge how Rambo does it best, full on with no regrets. Certainly a great addition to the Rambo franchise that will keep us Rambo fans happy.

I've given it 4 stars because it is such a daft film you can't help but enjoy it. Especially on a wet evening when there's nothing else to do. Lol
