About this movie

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes the action-packed adventure Ralph Breaks the Internet. Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a part to save her game, Sugar Rush. They're in way over their heads, so they must rely on the citizens of the internet-including Yesss, the head algorithm and heart and soul of the trend-making site BuzzzTube, and Shank, a tough-as-nails driver from the gritty online auto-racing game Slaughter Race-to help them navigate their way.

This just turns a negatively reviewed movie known as The Emoji Movie and turns it into an even worse abomination. Even as a sequel to a great movie, it is still a terrible movie. The characters are extremally unlikable (they are annoying, selfish, insecure, mean and the list goes on), some scenes are "CRINGY", Felix and Calhoun hardly appear, as others say, there is too much gender politics, they break the rules of their own universe, too many pop culture references (more like self promotion), Ralph is even more of a "diaper baby" than he was in the original, the villain Giant Ralph is the blandest villain ever made right next to Future Emmet from The Lego Movie 2, too many Fortnite references (which caused the game to be referenced in most movies like The Avengers 4: Endgame, Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie, Shazam, The Angry Birds Movie 2, Bad Boys 3: Bad Boys For Life and way more.), features rip-offs of Grand Theft Auto and Bing, very unfunny jokes and more. Speaking of The Emoji Movie, the product placement in that movie is NOTHING when in comparison with this movie since there is record-breaking amounts of product placement found throughout the entire movie and the Oh My Disney scene and every scene involving the Disney Princesses is just blatant self promotion for Disney themselves, featuring every property they ever owned at the time, which makes this movie even more of a lazy cash-grab than The Emoji Movie. Ralph has been turned into an insecure, self destructive and needy person since he always wants to be around with Vanellope while Vanellope became a very selfish and contemptable person by going Turbo at the end, abandoning everyone in Sugar Rush, even as their "president" in favour of her living in the said GTA ripoff with Shank. In the original, everyone panicked when Ralph went turbo and in the sequel, when Vanellope went turbo, nobody cared except Ralph, who was forced by his selfish "best friend" to let her game-hop to Slaughter Race. In fact, Fix it Felix was Ralph's true best friend the entire time as Ralph was his best man and he went on an adventure with Felix in the Nintendo version of the official video game to the first movie. Overall, this is the worst sequel to any movie I have ever seen besides Pacific Rim 2 and The Lego Movie 2. If you are a fan of Wreck it Ralph 1, do not see Wreck it Ralph 2 at all costs. Nearly walked out of this movie because of how bad it was and I even gave away ALL of my Wreck it Ralph merchandise from both movies except for the tie-in Nintendo DS game for Wreck it Ralph 1, which even that had a better story than this sequel. Do not watch this movie and/or give Disney your money ever again. I will not even bother to pay for and/or watch the possible sequel and spin-off legally as a result of this movie.

disappointing follow up to a great first film. felt weirdly forced and reference heavy. i get thats the point to some extent but this felt cheap and rushed.
