This documentary will challenge you to try and make some change in your life, in however big or small a way, which will benefit towards the greater good of helping to try and save our world and the animals we share it with. Racing Extinction is uplifting, sad, challenging, wonderful, depressing, heart warming, inspirational - all encompassed throughout. The saddest moment for me was watching and hearing the very last Hawaiian oo bird ever, sing for a mate who would never come, not knowing that he was the very last of his species. Very moving. It's a deeply touching documentary and one which everyone, children and adults alike, should see.

It's a documentary that shows you the facts in a way that you can't miss interpret, visuals like that can't be faked. They take all the data that scientists have known for years, paired it with footage of the horrors that are happening and instead of uselessly trying to show it to the politicians and law-makers. They show it to the everyday people on the street. This documentary sits right alongside "The Cove' and "Sharkwater". A documentary that dumps a cold bucket of water on you and forces you to see what's actually going on.

I caught a screening for this film at Bonnaroo and I have to say I was very impressed with it's quality and content. Inspiring stuff, and eye-opening to how the little things we do have such a great impact on the world as a whole. Definitely worth the watch.
