This is a fantastic depiction of the Australian West but, it could have been in the American West. As the movie points out the two countries, during this time period and before, are similar and have similar histories. The landscape could be the American west, if you didn't know differently. This movie shows Tom Selleck in his natural 'habitat'. He is a cowboy at heart. Laura San Giacomo is great as the crazy Cora character. Tom and Laura; what a pair! They are perfect for the roles they play. I love this movie!

One of my favorite films from my childhood. Shows that there is a clear-cut difference between right and wrong, while also coming to terms with the costs of doing the right thing.

It's a great movie, I absolutely love Tom Selleck, so I make a point of watching any movie or tv series that he is starring in. This is one of the movies that you can watch again and again and you never get tired watching it! It's a keeper!!!
