Having read the book quite some time a go, I was quite pleased with what was presented. This was one of several books taking literature and giving it a modern twist. Hopefully it will aid in ensuring future generations take the time to read the originals but even if they do not will still receive a insight, however strange, into a by-gone era. A pleasing movie, as long as one remembers it is a movie and doesn't judge it from its counter part.

Huge fan of Pride and Prejudice, read the book many times and the TV series and all the different movies, etc. This one was very surprising, it had its own style but also included the much loved moments from the novel. I felt the acting was very real. Definitely recommend!!

This is not the same as the book that I read. A better than expected cast, good acting and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. Matt Smith makes a really good Mr Collins, one of the best I've seen. Yes, I've read the original.
