Poltergeist Extended

Cross between insidious and the original.. The little bit of thought that went into reimagining the story was boring, and I didn't care about any of the characters. The original had much more depth and I really wanted them to get the little girl back. This one felt rushed. They had over 30 years to remake it... It could have been better.

There were a lot of homages to the original (maybe too many), which would have been scarier if you are seeing these scenes for the first time. However, this version pales in comparison to the original. If there was a more original take to the Poltergeist story, I would have enjoyed it more. For those who have never seen the original, this would be a scary movie. However, I don't think it would create the kind of lasting imprint on one's mind like the original did for my generation. Overall, it is a fun movie to watch, but watch the original if you really want to enjoy a scary movie.

The movie sucks so bad that I new what was going to happen before I even seen it and when my dad got the movie I told him it was just the wast of money becasue there is no point and its not even an hour long so this movie can get erased from the universe.......:-( AND THERE IS NO PLOT TWIST AT ALLLLLLL WTF!!!!!
