This is definitely one of my all time favorite movies, and a real eye opener as to how tough it was for a widowed housewife with no skills and a black man running from town to town looking for anything or anywhere to call "home". Makes you appreciate what little you may have. Horrible way for the drunk boy who shot the sherriff to die, its sick to think that could still happen because people are ignorant and stupid around people different then them, oh and that goes for EVERYONE! On a different note, I couldn't imagine how many huge fans it took to do the tornado scene, which by the way should have earned everyone an award for working with all the debris flying that could've hurt them.
