As a standalone film, this one's really a 3-star. If you're a massive fan of the first, you'll enjoy it nonetheless. It is funny, though some of the jokes are overplayed. The biggest problem is in the editing - it would have been a dramatically better and funnier film if it were 20 minutes shorter. There are large parts of it that are just unnecessary, or unnecessarily long.

But this second one was NOT as good as the first. I hope they do a lot better on the third one. The second one had poor song choices and some of the jokes just weren't right. I liked the judge making all the jokes, but I wish they didn't sell out some of the jokes.... I liked the record producer a LOT but I didn't like the story line for the movie could've been a lot better. Plus oi didn't like the new girl.

The only funny and memorable part of this movie comes at the ending credits. Bumper gets a surprise guest appearance on the Voice. Other than that, this movie was incredibly boring and unoriginal. The script was poorly written, the characters were two dimensional and the relationships and even romance angle was forced. Major characters in the last movie were only given one liners. I'm so glad that I did not see this in theaters with my friends.
