Arriving at her new college, Beca (Anna Kendrick) finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca leads this a cappella singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions.

Despite having Rebel Wilson in it, I was told this wasn't going to be very good so I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite funny and Anna Kendrick was great as always, but the upright leader storyline drags a bit too long and I felt they could have taken it further with other characters and jokes. Also some of the music wasn't as good as I hoped for, the guys' choreography was great though.

Amazing singers! :) and all of the characters are unique and funny. Refreshing in term of the characters, however the story line is not so much refreshing.. Maybe bcoz it is kinda jumping? :) But hopefully there will b second one.. Which hopefully the story line is worth to be praised 4 stars like the characters. :)

Songs were good, and I know it's a classic singing/dance film, but come on. Too predictable, too many spew/barf jokes. Sort of unsure how to take this film. Some endearing bits, but I mostly found myself scowling at the screen.
