I absolutely LOVE Pixar's animated shorts but this is quickly one of my favorites! 1 birds are adorable but 2, everything from the environment to the character animation just looks so realistic! It's amazing how far animation has come. I mean... it's a short 6 min film how much can I really say about it. Get it, enjoy it.

Such a perfect little story, cute and from the heart. Also this is an incredible technical achievement!! Every grain of sand absorbing it's own unique light just how it would IRL, the particles under the water showing down the the smallest piece of broken off calcium, the feathers flowing in the wind freely, I would buy a bluray just for the behind the scenes to this amazing film!

This is the cutest, sweetest thing I have ever seen and is hands down my favorite animation of all time. I could easily watch an entire feature based around this world and this adorable little sand piper. Absolutely brilliant work and breathtakingly beautiful as well.
