Utter, complete drivel...pitiful script and about as scary and menacing as a marshmallow. I gave this piece of nonsense 40 minutes of my life which I'll never get back. Poor John Lithgow must have needed the money - even he couldn't breathe life into this mindless pap...

Really wanted to like this. Was actually annoyed by the low ratings. Apologies for those who I was annoyed with. This was by the numbers, dull. Left me a little bored. Hollywood seems to be consistently producing dull, flat, scare free movies lately.

I really enjoyed this movie, I’m not a fan of remakes and they are never as good as the original but if you go in with that in mind you will enjoy them more, liked that they changed a few things too
