About this movie

Set in 1982 in small town Virginia, Permanent centers around the newly relocated Dickson family, Jeanne and Jim (Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson) and their 13-year-old daughter Aurelie (Kira McLean). In this hilariously awkward and unique story full of wit and wisdom of a hairstyle gone wrong, the Dicksons are struggling through major life changes together all the while trying desperately to emerge intact on the other side.

I will NEVER watch any TV show or movie with Rainn Wilson in it EVER again. He is a sociopath-pedophile who is demonic in nature and tortures his child victims without remorse. He is devoid of empathy and deserves punishment in the same way he obtains his ‘treats’ from his victims. He is a waste of human skin. I only gave this a 1 star because it would not let me post a review commentary without it. Use your critical thinking to connect what comes up when you Google his name, and the word ‘pedophile‘ Get ready for a real eye opener about Rainn and ALL his hungry Satan-worshiping friends who torture, maim, terrorize and kill children and babies. Sickening... #pedowood #pizzagate #spiritcooking

Set in 1982, it was a nice immersion in the fading 70's and upcoming 80's styles. The pacing was slow and some of the issues and communications felt forced, but the inter-personal problems weren't dealt with overbearingly, which made it lighter and more enjoyable. Overall, a light, feel good kind of movie.
