About this movie

Trouble-prone teen Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of school -- but that's the least of his problems. The gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology texts and into his life -- and they're not happy. Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now, Percy and his friends must return Zeus' stolen property and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Disappointed that we (living in Belgium) were able to select, rent and pay for a movie (targeted at children), that doesn't have Dutch subtitles. We had to stop the playback after 1 minute (playback started -> no refund), and head over to Apple iTunes to rent (pay a second time) the same movie with the Dutch subtitles. And yes, the list of available subtitles is mentioned in the details, but I'm still disappointed.

To be honest, Im not much of a fan of the movie version of the Percy Jackson series since I've read the books already but its something that you wouldn't want to miss. Despite it lacking some important aspects from the book the movie really is a nice, relaxing movie. Plus I couldn't think of a better Percy Jackson than Logan Lerman.. Haha

If you haven't read the book yet, this is actually quite an awesome movie. I know a lot of fans hate the movie because of it's inaccuracies but I am thankful for this because I get to know Alexandra Daddario (a Goddess (灬º‿º灬)♡ ) and Logan Lerman.
