About this movie

Trouble-prone teen Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of school -- but that's the least of his problems. The gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology texts and into his life -- and they're not happy. Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now, Percy and his friends must return Zeus' stolen property and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

If you ignore the books, then it's a decent movie. The information(greek gods stuff) isn't inaccurate to my recall, but as a movie adaptation, it definitely failed. A lot of details from the book were taken out, both major and minor details, and the ending, which happened in the second adaptation, out of 5 books, was sloppy. I feel incredibly bad for Mr. Riordan to have his book stripped down so horribly.

If (like me) you did read the books, the movie is a total failure. They missed so much things. in my opinion they should have been able to do like harry potter movie, you know the kid who grow up in each movie, with detailed stories and all this stuff. im really disappointed by the two movies. this series is really funny and so good,i wish they put really some effort if one day they choose to do another movie with Percy Jackson.

If you just want to injoy the movie, that's fine. Personally, I would rather the books. If you have already read the books, don't watch this movie. It will just make you mad that they didn't do the movie completely on the storyline. If you havn' t, go right ahead, you will in joy this movie a lot.
