As much as I loved the Percy Jackson Novels by Rick, this movie was quite a let down. At some bits of this movie, it just seemed childish and not the serious and unique tone the book had. However, I must say that the visuals and CGI were great.

While not exactly like the book, its was much closer to what was written than th e first movie. I enjoyed Sea of Monsters very much.
