About this movie

A critically acclaimed film that won a total of eight Academy Awards® (Including Best Picture), Patton is a riveting portrait of one of the 20th century's greatest military geniuses. George Patton was the only allied general truly feared by the Nazis. Charismatic and flamboyant, Patton designed his own uniforms, sported ivory-handled six-shooters, and believed he was a warrior in past lives. He out-maneuvered Rommel in Africa, and after D-Day led his troops in an unstoppable campaign across Europe.

If Patton was around today, first he would look the so called President Trump in the eyes, then say you ain't fit to be leader of this fine USA, then call him a draft dodger, and finally slap him in the face in front of all the troops. That's how bad and respected he was and I never served under him.

Saw it when it premiered on the big screen. I was twelve at the time and it left me with an unquenchable desire to learn everything possible about WW2 and the campaign against the Nazi regime from North Africa to Berlin, and the political mess thereafter. I am an Army veteran but theirs was truly "The Greatest Generation".

Obama is lucky Patton was not here during the Iraq /Afghanistan war. He would have been kicked out after the first meet and greet. Thank God that we still have generals like Patton.
