About this movie

Parker (Jason Statham) is a hardened professional criminal who lives by his own code -- don't steal from people who can't afford it and don't hurt people who don't deserve it. But when he's double-crossed by his crew and left for dead, it's time for payback.
Forming an unlikely alliance with a sexy Pal Beach resident (Jennifer Lopez), they hatch a plan to track down the gang, hijack their latest heist and take everyone down. © 2012 INCENTIVE FILM PRODUCTIONS, LLC. All Rights Reserved.

This film is okay but some of the action scenes become boring and repetitive. I don't like it when they take 100 tanks and 40 thousand rounds of ammo before they go down and still manage to wave to the end credits. Scenes like that loose all sense of reality and as said above it becomes boring as ones mind starts to think about wallpapering the bedroom or taking on that DIY job that the OH asked you to do rather than taking the scene seriously. Ive seen worse films and ive seen better so I am going to give it a 2*.

Statham murders Parker. He's bad, not even close to what Donald Westlake (Richard Stark) had in mind. This movie only got made because he died. Porter, in Payback the directors cut is Parker. They called him Porter because Donald Westlake wanted it made into a series and they couldn't guarantee it, so called him Porter instead. Jennifer Lopez, the only good thing.

The worst Statham film by far. Its a slow predictable payback movie that fumbles its way from start to finish and boy did I look forward to the end. If it were a free download, I wouldn't bother.
