Paranormal Activity

I am not a movie reviewer but I do want to leave my comment on this movie and why I gave it a 2 star rating. 1 star for a good set. Doing the movie in one house was a nice idea. It enables the viewer to direct the attention more easily to the slight movements and subtle shadowing. 1 star for good use of sound early in the movie. = 2 stars. -1 star for bad acting that was just not believable enough to me (not all the time, so retakes would have been good so that the characters felt more real). -1 star for bad dialog and bad delivery (not all the time but enough that I felt disconnected from the story. I like to not be distracted but over used wording that is repeated. It does not help build suspense, it just dilutes it.) -1 star for kicking a dead horse... (WHAT? - I saw no horse!) The ideas used in the movie are old and very worn out. I guess young kids and the feeble minded may have gotten a fright or 2 but for me the "scary factor" was just not there. Very predictable. ~ *Note* Could I have done better? ~ Yes and no. I am not a trained actor but, like many other people, I dislike fake or put on fear. I am sure it's hard to continually act fearful and terrified.

A horror film like no other called PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Is a creepy&shocking film ever made. This is one movie that I dare you to watch..but don't watch it alone. When it wakes up at night..it'll get under your skin each time it awakens.

Im not going to say it wasnt scary cause im not gonna lie i die feel scared a few times thats why it has 2 stars. But the jump scares were really predictable and bland. Nothing new from horror films
