They tried but I had to turn off when some really implausible stuff happened. Through so much of the movie I was just wondering to myself "Why? Why would you do that? You know you shouldn't take off your helmet. You know what the stakes are, where's your self discipline? Why do you all go off and get separated?" They had a good idea, a nice premise but the story felt very forced. I'm getting tired of seeing a zombie get hit in the mouth with an axe, stiffen up and collapse when the axe is removed. A) nobody would die from that wound immediately and B) why do they always freeze and then drop a few seconds later when the blade is pulled out?
