I'm a huge fan of GDT's work and his true talent for filmmaking flourishes in Pan's Labyrinth. GDT's creations can both haunt and mystify you in ways you never thought possible from the characters to the set design and even the colour pallet. This film is direct proof that GDT is one of the best directors currently in the business.

Apart from one gruesome seen, the film follows a kids imagination but in a adult world. Really well acted, and very thought though. Quality movie. Please note its a film with subtitles.

A beautiful, elegiac fairy tale from the wonderful imagination of Guillermo del Toro where the "monsters" are uncomfortably real, transposed against a child's innocent heart. Watching this beautiful film is a wonderful escape into amber colours that comfort much like a warm blanket. A cinematic masterpiece đź’ť.
