It's like 2 incomplete movies jammed together, both without proper beginning or end. I'd like both if either were complete, together I can't really enjoy either. The visuals and music are of course top notch as always with del toro.

I've seen this movie a few times and find the creatures in it fascinating and even though it has a darker side to the end it's a happy ending at least
