Pacific Rim Uprising

Very poorly directed , scripted movie. Made some fairly good actors seem like amateurs. Both pacific rims had potential but ended up as a disaster waste of time movie just playing in the background. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you want some sound in the background while you sleep. Movie had serious potential but terribly terribly made. The reason to bring teens into the movie just destroyed the whole film. Seemed like the producers wanted to broaden the range of viewers but failed drastically. Terrible terrible movie.Could not explain how bad it is. Waste of time and waste even if the viewing of this movie was for free. 100x worse than the first pacific rim. Who thought that was possible but somehow producers pulled it off. Good Job.

Disgrace compared to Pacific Rim. There's no gravity in the story whatsoever. You feel it's more like some bad kids messing up the local neighbourhood so a bunch of tweens learning parkour with the older teen (Boyega) who didn't finish high school (in his 30s but refuses to move on) decides to captain them and stand up to the bad people from the other trashy neighbourhood. Cancel the apocalypse? This one can just happen, no one cared. If I wanted to watch kids save the world, I'd watch anime

It was a good movie to watch. Great action, good visual effects. It just felt jumbled, very basic storyline and I wish the battles had a lot more meaning and significance in the movie. I wish the robots would make like an ultra Jaeger and battles were more than just breaking buildings. Anyway could go on and on but if you're looking to turn off your brain. This is the movie for you!
