OMG! What a bad movie! First off all: You do not feel the climate of the Second World War at all! Secondly very often It resembles a b-class cinema! Hard to believe that J.J. Abrams had something to do with it. Maybe it was supposed to remind Wolfenstein game or different movie about German zombie soldiers but it didn't do it. In summary, this is neither horror nor comedy nor a good action movie!

Politically correct nonsense. It's WWII and we're seeing black airborne Rangers, including a black Sargeant, overseas fighting in mixed platoons, in Operation Overlord, which is as fictional as having an indigenous Caucasian tribe in the Congo. Once I saw that, my expectations were dropped to zero and I wasn't off by much. Not the worst flick I've ever seen but close enough. Waste of time.

Overlord isn't half bad. I think it would have been better if they stayed a bit more accurate to history. There are some issues that take me out of the film, such as the issue of race. Back in the 40's black soldiers had their own divisons. There would be no black commander of a troop of men. Once you get over weird issues like that, the rest of the film is fairly entertaining and gruesome.
