Our Kind of Traitor

Susanna White directs this adaptation of John le Carré's best-selling novel from a script by Hossein Amini, with a cast headed by Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgård, Damian Lewis and Naomie Harris. Whilst taking a holiday in Marrakech, a young English couple Perry (McGregor) and Gail (Harris) bond with an enigmatic Russian businessman (Skarsgård) after a chance encounter. What they don't know is that he is a gangster, seeking to defect to the British Secret Service before his rivals have a chance to murder him, and he has chosen them as his lifeline. The couple's recruitment is followed by a deadly chase, taking them from the souks of Marrakech to London, then the French Open final in Paris and finally to a thrilling climax in the Swiss Alps.
