In Disney and Pixar's ONWARD, two teenage elf brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot (voices of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt) get an unexpected opportunity to spend one more day with their late dad and embark on an extraordinary quest aboard Barley's epic van Guinevere. Like any good quest, their journey is filled with magic spells, cryptic maps, impossible obstacles, and unimaginable discoveries. But when the boys' fearless mom Laurel (voice of Julia Louis-Dreyfus) realizes that her sons are missing, she teams up with a part-lion, part-bat, part-scorpion, former warrior – aka The Manticore (voice of Octavia Spencer) – and heads off to find them. Perilous curses aside, this one magical day could mean more than any of them ever dreamed.

Not a perfect Disney Movie but non of them are, some of the jokes don't hit sadly but they definitely get the father figure story right. It's very well animated, the characters have a good chemistry with each other and it was a really fulfilling movie. Disney are great at telling stories, so I get a bit sad that the jokes go over me, but it's not me that they are purposely targeting now, it's the current child generation and that's gonna keep them relevant for years to come.

We cannot believe this is a Disney Pixar Movie. This movie is atrocious! The most ridiculous story line, coupled with the most annoying main characters we've ever seen. We have purchased many Disney Pixar films in the past; we'll be giving this one a miss.... Wish we could get that wasted hour back; that's all we could manage before we stopped watching and that was 55 mins too long.

Soo....as a person who has a dead parent and didn't read any synopsis, and went of the fact it lookes mystical and awsome. I do not really recomend unless you are looking to cry. In which case crack on. My heart broke. well told story, love the setting and world. Should have done my research.
