About this movie

Katherine Heigl is Stephanie Plum in this hilarious film for the whole family -- based on Janet Evanovich's best seller about an incredibly average yet heroic woman who finds a new start in the bail bond business.

Watched it, enjoyed it, great cast...even surprised me and I had read the books. So when those critics don't like it, I know it's good. The only thing I didn't like was the opening credit music...oh well. Hope they make more of the series, and yes the LEAD actress was great, and Joe, and Ranger. Rex could have spoken more, think they must have cut his best drama parts out. Shame there. Good job. It's better than Disney and others!

I read the book three times and absolutely loved it. The movie met all of my expectations. I can't wait for them to make Two for the Dough. They left out the duck. The story would have make more sense if they had left in the duck.

Starts off a little slow and with occasionally confusing plot points, but ends on a high note. K.H.'s character is likeable, but not portrayed as the traditional cartoonish Jersey girl. Her accent falters often, but is unobtrusive enough that it isn't a major flaw.
