About this movie

Now, for the first time, Sergio Leone's original uncut version of this monumental epic can be seen. The picture itself is as big as its Monument Valley locations, as grand as its fine, distinguished cast, as tough and bawdy as every kid imagines the Old West. Henry Fonda plays the blackest character of his long career, and he's utterly convincing as Frank, the ruthless murderous psychopath who suffers no conscience pangs after annihilating an entire family. Jason Robards is the half-breed falsely accused of the terrible slaughter. Charles Bronson plays The Man, who remembers how his brother was savagely tortured. Brilliantly directed by Sergio Leone, this glorious picture re-established the Western'' significance to cinema art."

Well done overall, dialogue was scarce, but every word had weight and often wit. I bet if I had scene this movie when it released, I would given a much different rating. However, it has that old movie slow pace going from start to finish. Though it did not hurt the fight scenes or suspense, I felt every minute go by in the movie which bad, but it was nearly 3 hours.

Slow story line and over hyped with angle shots. Movie was focused more on getting drama shots of actors then on a decent story line. Wanna watch a good western? Check out Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

The greatest movie I have seen to date, the number one of all time. Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda, man this was not acting, they took you into the characters, and you could taste it. My Top Pick, Enjoy!
