About this movie

Five years, eight months, 12 days...and counting. That’s how long Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) has been devising the biggest heist of her life. She knows what it’s going to take—a team of the best in their field, starting with her partner-in-crime Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett). Together, they recruit a crew of specialists: jeweler Amita (Mindy Kaling); street con Constance (Awkwafina); expert fence Tammy (Sarah Paulson); hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna); and fashion designer Rose (Helena Bonham Carter). The target is a cool $150 million dollars in diamonds—diamonds that will be around the neck of world-famous actress Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), who will be centerstage at the event of the year, the Met Gala. The plan is rock solid, but everything will need to be flawless if the team is going to get in and get away with the ice. All in plain sight.

Wow what to say here! All star cast, great actresses and a plot that has been done before. Oh wait, that is exactly the failing of this. Dialing it in just to say women rule. Well despite the all star cast, great? actresses, and a plot that’s has done before over and over, it’s an epic fail. Every level, every aspect. So stupid and played out. It’s like Warner Brothers is just mocking how dumb we are. Well they already know. See all the movies they make. I’m not even talking their butchering of Justice League. And on one last note, poor Sandra Bullock’s face. It was the worst part of the movie. Never moved, flexed or did on one bit of acting. Just sat there and pretended to be in the movie, like everyone in it did. Just acted like this was a good movie. I want my $$ back. Guess that was the biggest heist after all.

After watching, and drifting in and out of consciousness, I did twice during that period think of shutting down the movie, but thought it just might kick into gear, but alas, such was not the case. A vapid and vacuous waste of everyone's time, including the cast, and support staff not to mention the 10's of viewers that have watched this tripe. Just so you know, i did not think much of the other Oceans either. I don't care who the stars are, if the movie stinks it stinks in both sexes. I suppose as a paying member of the viewing audience it's to much to expect that Hollywood might just be able to cobble together a decent movie or 5, more than a couple of times a year. So, I have now decided to lower my expectations to just slightly above a speed bump, so as to avoid any further connection with disappointment when it comes to the movie industry. I do hope, that in this time of petulant egos and having ones feelings hurt being akin to some form of dismemberment that the entire cast and crew will be able to carry on with their tiny lives after such a daring critic. Thank you.

Meh... Felt similar to Oceans 13. Just ok. Didn't make me laugh like Oceans 8 ever did. Sandra Bullock was not a good substitute for Danny Ocean at all, she never made any jokes. Where was the comradery, they don't even seem like they like each other, I miss Rusty and Danny. the most frustrating part is that Google play only had the 4k option for $7. Definitely not worth that, fix your system Google play- it should be $5. Not even worth that!
