"U play, u pay" as the old saying goes. Its not "u play, u pay for an abortion." sorry but i dont support that whole thing nor will i spend my money on a movie that is backed by Planned Parenthood in order to show women that there is no big deal when u get an abortion and its an easy problem solved. If u are not willing to raise a child dont have a one night stand.

I was ready to turn it off before the title screen came up. The main characters comedy routine wasn't funny, the audience in the film didn't even laugh. I trusted the rotten tomatoes review but apparently the reviewed it as "art" rather than entertainment. I'd like to ask for my $3 back.

When you take a comedic actress, like Jenny Slate, and give her a story like Obvious Child then there is only one possible outcome: GENIUS. Not only is this film just out right hilarious but it is a true star making performance for Jenny Slate. This film tackles controversial topics yet you wouldn't even know it because it is masked by an overall message of finding the comedic relief that is life. I only wish it could've gotten more credit than it did. I mean this movie was so good that I went out and bought it after renting it. If your in any mood to watch a well rounded movie than this is a must see!
