This movie is not only just about the title suggests but its sad also. We follow this young girl named Joe's story from being a self dignoised Nymphomaniac and what it does to those around her and also how people take control of her addiction. I feel this movie is defiantly a different take on the word addiction where we are used to seeing Drug or Alcoholic stories the director Lars Von Trier has used a different type of addiction and like many of them to see what it causes.

Heavily cut, but it's not too obvious. Beautifully made and well acted (Charlotte Gainsbourg never disappoints) with the director's customary wry humour and insights. Not as harrowing as Part Two.
