About this movie

Taken from the streets as a child, Raizo (Rain) is transformed into a trained killer by the Ozunu Clan, a secret society. But haunted by the merciless execution of his friend by the Clan, Raizo breaks free from them...and vanishes. In Berlin, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) has stumbled upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network of assassins from the Far East. Defying the orders of her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), Mika digs into top secret agency files to learn the truth behind the murders. Her investigation makes her a target, and the Ozunu Clan sends a team of killers led by the lethal Takeshi (Rick Yune), to silence her forever. Raizo saves Mika from her attackers, but he knows that the Clan will not rest until they are both eliminated. Now, entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse through the streets of Berlin, Raizo and Mika must trust one another if they hope to survive...and finally bring down the elusive Ozunu Clan. Loved this soooo much. Fell in love with Rain through this film and became a fan of his singing and dancing afterwards. I am now a big fan of Kpop! His skills as a performer definitely showed in this movie. He worked so hard to obtain 0% body fat for this role. You can YouTube it to see. (Rain Ninja Assassin Training) Only downside to this film is he and Mika didn't end up together. Or at least act on the feelings the characters obviously had for each other.

I like kung fu flicks. This is more like a slasher horror movie to me. They keep the camera too close for you to actually appreciate the moves. And there's way too much cgi to take it seriously. It's too bad. The story is actually okay, but there are better one's than this.

A lot of fun and really I was entertained with how they blended the modern age of tactics and combat in relation to enforcement of laws and bringing the culpable to account for their crimes against a clan, gang, cult, of ninja assassins for hire which are operating and existing in a world that was ages in the past almost invoking a mythological feel to their existence in the now ninjas running the opposite way down an hgwy of speeding cars at night chasing another ninja w/swords what a visual
